The Single Vineyard Grenache Series is the latest addition to Maverick's Single Vineyard Single Variety Premium Wine Series. The vines are truly iconic Ancestor Grenache vines, as ancient as the Barossa but still in the prime of life! The wines are characterized by notes of creamy raspberry and opulence.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Blood orange red.
Bouquet: Raspberry fruit with complex black spices nutmeg, cinnamon licorice with a whiff of fresh oak.
Palate: Full, generous, even, soft, warm, long. Raspberries and cream with a touch of opulence.
Vineyard & Vintage Comments: These grapes are from our beautiful 5 acre block of ancient Grenache, planted at our Ahrens' Creek Vineyard in the heart of historic Vine Vale. A good vintage. The grapes were picked in early April. Fine weather throughout allowed for clean even ripening without disease pressure. Moderate yields.
