Our label painting is by Sydney-based artist Charles Billich, one of the art world's living icons and a lover of our like-minded Maverick wines. Our five beautiful Sommeliers all want to introduce you to this wine - if you look very carefully and have 20/20 vision you may be able to see on this canvas each of the individual letters comprising "MAVERICK".

Tasting Notes

Colour: medium minus red with dark red/purple hue
Bouquet: juicy red fruits, bright berry, rose hip – fruit of the forest
Palate: full round, soft and sweet Turkish delight characters, generous in the mouth
Vineyard & Vintage Comments: The 2018 harvest was perfectly suited to the expression of rich, elegant Grenache from our vineyards in both the Barossa and Eden Valleys. Overall it is a very good expression of a Grenache-led Barossa GSM, that promises plenty of enjoyment across the next few years. Delicious
